Here’s the first taste of my upcoming album. It’s about this awesome city you may have heard of named Halifax. The beautiful beat is by the mega talented Peter Project and those fresh DJ cuts are by the master of the tables Uncle Fes. Enjoy! (And don’t forget about the release parties Aug 7 in Toronto & Aug 14 in Halifax).
I made a new comic book with my pals Dave Howlett & Alex Kennedy. We’re debuting it at The Dartmouth Comics Art Festival on August 16th (see http://dcaf.strangeadventures.com/ for more info). It’s pretty awesome. Check this cover by Kody Peters with logos designed by Matt Dawson & Ryan Wilson:
THE LAST PAPER ROUTE takes place in the 1990s in Harbour City – a town with a rich and mysterious paper-route history going back 100 years. Best friends Mikey and Arv are two up-and-coming paperboys who get promoted to the biggest paper-route in the city. They have no idea what perils and craziness they’ve inherited, but with the help of their boss, the enigmatic and tough-as-nails Mr. Beagles they’re determined to deliver their papers – despite the danger!
The new Wordburglar album is RAPPLICABLE SKILLS.
It drops next month.
Featuring 15 brand new Wordburglar tracks with production from Beatmason, Fresh Kils, Ghettosocks, Milk Plus, Peter Project, Savilion and Timbuktu., cuts by DJ Irate, More or Les & Uncle Fes and featuring guest rapping appearances from Chokeules, Ghettosocks, MC Frontalot, MegaRan, More or Les, Savilion, Swamp Thing, SyFy, Timbuktu &, Ultra Magnus.
