Hey all, Burgie here! Hope your summer is off to an amazing start. I’m pleased to announce that Wordburglar Rhymes With Comics #1 is finally available on Bandcamp in all formats including digital, vinyl, CD and the first ever Wordburglar cassette tape!!
What is it? I worked with 15 amazing comic book creators to turn 15 of my songs into comics so you can rhyme along to every page as you listen to the songs. It’s a 100 page, full colour, oversized lyrical graphic novel that can be enjoyed on it’s own or with the accompanying soundtrack.
The cover is by Marvel Comics legend Steve McNiven (Civil War, Old Man Logan, Amazing Spider-Man) and yes, the cassette tape features original art on both sides by the original Wordburglar illustrator and mega-talented pal Dave Howlett! Other artists featured in the book include: MIKE HOLMES (Wings Of Fire, Adventure Time, My Own World), JASON LOO (PiItiful Human Lizard), BRENDA HICKEY (My Little Pony, Turnip King, Butterfly House), TROY LITTLE (Rick & Morty VS Dungeons & Dragons) KALMAN ANDRASOFSZKY (X-23) and so many more!

The digital version comes with a 100-page PDF and 18 songs. The physical versions (Vinyl, CD, Cassette) all come with a free 1980 FORCE Poster (hinting at things to come!) and we also have T-shirts available.
